Each Saturday morning beginning at 7:00am, His Way Out Ministries offers a 30-minute broadcast dedicated to equipping, educating and encouraging the Body of Christ to reach out and minister to individuals, families, and churches impacted by the brokenness of same-sex attraction.

Season 2, Episode 20
Keep trying, loving, praying, and looking for ways to reach gay-identified neighbors, friends, and loved ones. In doing so, regardless how they may respond, you will be living out God’s heart. We are called to sacrificial love, to love in the same way Christ loves us.

“As faithful followers of Christ Jesus, we should never sidestep either truth or grace but speak clear truth about every issue and extend grace to every person. This, I believe, is what the Church is called to be, and I am convinced it is what people are looking for today. It was a church like this that saved my life.” – Phillip Lee

Season 2, Episode 18
Roles get reversed when Pastor Roger Spradlin interviews Pastor Phillip Lee in the second part of a two-part episode about saying goodbye to “gay” and surrendering his life to Christ Jesus 31 years ago.

Pastor Spradlin asked important and pointed questions such as: Is there a difference between the terms “gay” and “homosexual”? Did you choose to be gay? How instrumental was the Church in your process of transformation? Were you ever bullied? Do you think a Christian should attend a same-sex marriage ceremony? Am I correct that you personally witnessed the AIDS crisis unfold in 1980? What was it, what happened that ultimately caused you to say goodbye to “gay” and surrender to Christ? Is freedom from same-sex attraction instantaneous when surrendering to Christ or is it a process? Is the ultimate goal for the same-sex attracted person heterosexuality? Is the true identity of a Christian found in their sexuality or in Christ? And, much more.

These are the kind of conversations that need to take place throughout the Body of Christ on a regular basis to effectively and compassionately communicate God’s heart concerning sexual brokenness and wholeness in Christ Jesus.

Operation Restoration and His Way Out Ministries Present “Affirming Truth Rather Than Culture”

Georgetown, Guyana, South America – July 22, 2017 – 9:00am to 3:00pm

Leadership Training/Educational Workshop

Understanding Homosexuality
Is homosexuality the worst of all sins? Is homosexuality genetic? Scripturally-speaking: what do we know about homosexuality?

Reaching Gay Youth
Even with youth, never apologize for or water down the Word of God. It’s not really a struggle between “us and them” – it is between them and the Word of God.

Going On As A Parent
In particular, when a Christian parent becomes aware of a child struggling with same-sex attraction, they want to know why: Why does he feel this way? What caused it? And, did I have anything to do with it? Where do we go from here?

Homosexuality and the Church
When the Authority of Scripture is denigrated, the Church of Jesus Christ, the light of the world, will be without any clear guidance of her own. A culture war in society should not dictate to the Church what the Church should believe.

Recently, in Trinidad and Tobago!

My two-week trip to Trinidad and Tobago last month could not have been more productive.

Numerous meetings with Hospital Christian Fellowship, Lawyers For Jesus, and Operation Restoration (Guyana), a spectacular Youth For Christ rally, catching up with friends and partners at Christian Radio Isaac 98.1FM and Faith, Hope and Love Center, defining our location in Tobago for ministry facilitation, new ministry partnerships established with InterSchool and InterVarsity Fellowship and churches (Sea Lots Open Bible Church and Full Gospel Tabernacle) and the establishment of our office location at St. Augustine Evangelical Bible Church and Christ-Centered Counseling Center in Trinidad for the His Way Out Ministries Caribbean Office.

In cooperation with our Caribbean ministry partners, His Way Out Ministries remains dedicated to raising awareness and equipping the Body of Christ in Trinidad and Tobago, Guyana, Jamaica and throughout the Caribbean Islands for ministry to those with the unwanted brokenness of same-sex attraction.

“Be encouraged that Christ is building His Church, and He is doing it out of people including those who were sexually immoral, idolaters, male prostitutes, homosexual offenders, thieves, greedy, drunkards, slanderers, and swindlers but who have been washed, sanctified, and justified in the name of Christ.” (1 Corinthians 6:9-11)

To God be the glory for the great things He has done!

Dear Pastors and Church Leaders,

As an individual that spent 17 years of my life as a gay-identified man, I am well acquainted with ‘gay’ and all that it entails. I can assure you that for many (not necessarily for all), their life is anything but gay. Ensnared by a brokenness many believe cannot be resolved, many suffer in silence – in the world and in the Church.

In today’s world and Church, I do appreciate and understand there are many considerations, if not factors on the line when anyone steps out to address homosexuality and related issues. Without question, the greatest factor on the line is, “Where will he or she spend eternity?”

Please do not ignore the present crisis that exists, especially with Satan relentlessly unleashing everything he has against this present generation. More and more, I see, understand and hear the words of our Lord when He said, “If you do what I have called you to do, some will hate you, and persecute you simply because of My Word and righteousness.”

To be frank, my role at His Way Out Ministries is often very hard because I would rather fit in and be liked. But I have to remember and hold on to the fact that it is not me nor the message of His Way Out Ministries that is often being dismissed – it is Jesus that is being rejected.

Today is the day to be both loving and bold. It is both my privilege and responsibility, as it is of each and every faithful follower of Christ Jesus, to clearly teach how the Bible defines marriage between a man and a woman, and how not having sex outside that union is pure and blessed in the Lord’s sight. Minister to minister, would you please pray with me that God would truly give the Christian community a heart for the gay community and people who are LGBTQ? Would you pray for them frequently and ask God to send the Holy Spirit to bring conviction and repentance, believing God for an awakening in the LGBTQ community?

One day in heaven, we will each meet the people our ministries of grace and truth helped by keeping them on the narrow road to life and the path of righteousness.

Let’s stand together in the gap for this generation. This isn’t my fight; this is our fight.

Pastor Phillip Lee
