Dear Friends and Ministry Partners…

Admittedly, The Church has always faced problems, but the scope and intensity of its problem regarding homosexuality seems to be greater than any previous time in history. How did things get to this point?

An increase of the “gay is good” notion within the Church, along with a considerable decline in the moral tone of America literally now threatens the stability of the Church. Morality on the part of many appears to be minimal.

Is it possible that given the crisis of homosexuality in the Church, and the persecution by many that uphold the Authority of Scripture which clearly defines the practice of homosexuality, in any form and to any degree, a sin, are being separated as true believers from the merely professing to be Christian?

There is no doubt we are witnessing an increase and a rise to an amoral society. That said, Church history clearly dictates that persecution has generally purified and strengthened the Church. Today, however, The Church, called to be salt and light, appears to be greatly struggling today to find its relevance. There was time when The Church set societal standards.

Therefore, what are the prospects for The Church (Christians) choosing to confront and combat what appears to be a growing complacency and neglect regarding homosexuality? If we as true, faithful followers of Christ Jesus, face and discuss this critical issue in a rational and loving way hoping and praying to produce principles that may warn and encourage The Church with regard to the future, is it possible our attention to what lies before us will produce a stronger Church?

We remain convinced for proper spiritual guidance in the life of every Christian and the Christian community, our authority must be rooted in special revelation which must guide all reason, emotion, and the will – individually and collectively. We can and we must be accepting of the same-sex attracted man or woman, but we can never accept a theology or a way of life that flies in the face of God’s Word.

Frankly, we do not know of a time when we have needed God’s intervention so desperately. No nation has squandered as many opportunities as we have. It does seem unrealistic to expect a revival when far too many appear to be unwilling to face the harassment that might well come to us all. But if we humble ourselves and weep for this nation, God may yet intervene and restore decency to this crazed nation and world.

All of us at His Way Out Ministries truly covet your prayers. You make it possible for His Way Out Ministries to reach around the world with a message of hope in Christ Jesus. Today, the need remains great but too often the resources are few. We desperately need you to help us in this effort.

rr-gay-awareness-schottGay Awareness by Landon Schott exposes false teaching and deception, that have created a false identity through the lens of sexuality instead of the eyes of God’s Word.

Landon Schott addresses: What the Bible actually says about marriage, homosexuality, and sexuality; contradictions between the gay lifestyle and the Christ-centered lifestyle; how men and women can experience deliverance and freedom; and mistakes the Church makes when addressing the gay community.

Did God make people gay? Does God love homosexuals? Will people have to deal with same-sex attraction their entire lives? Landon Schott brings truth and clarity to sexual confusion, using over 400 Scripture references to reveal the heart of the Father and mind of Christ.

There is no doubt the subject of homosexuality has become perhaps the most controversial social issue of our time, often presenting a host of difficult, if not divisive questions, such as: What exactly is homosexuality and how is it caused? Is homosexual practice morally good? Is homosexual practice beneficial or detrimental to the individual?

What’s the best way to respond to the gay agenda that relentlessly bombards us through various social and political agendas?

Since 1994, His Way Out Ministries has been dedicated to equipping, educating, and encouraging the Body of Christ to minister transformingly to men and women with unwanted same-sex attraction.

We believe restoration and wholeness is possible through Biblical discipleship, prayer, a caring Christian community and the healing power of the Holy Spirit.

However, we have been and we continue to be very concerned with the many misconceptions people, including Christians, have bought into with regard to homosexuality; opinions and beliefs which are anything but based upon the Truth and Authority of Scripture.

Presently, we are working with a Christian radio station(s) which is lending their expertise, experience and guidance for what will be a considerable project which will include many sound bite commercials detailing the ministry services of His Way Out Ministries, testimonies, and other information regarding homosexuality from a uniquely Christian standpoint and belief.

Also, there is a possibility of His Way Out Ministries eventually airing a regular 30-minute teaching program which will focus on God’s Divine Intent for Human Sexuality, The Myths of Homosexuality, Homosexuality and the Church, Youth and Homosexuality, etc.

Why are we communicating all of this now? We truly covet your prayers. Prayer is the foundation for success. Anything and everything we do for King and Kingdom must be birthed in prayer and continually bathed in prayer. Would you please pray for this project?

Our God is a God of New Beginnings! By faith, we give Him all the praise for the great things He is about to do and accomplish.

“If the trumpet does not sound a clear call, who will get ready for battle.” (1 Corinthians 14:8)

in-memorium-200In the aftermath of the horrific and heart-wrenching tragedy in Orlando, Florida, we are witnessing some of the best and worst aspects of America. Prayerfully, may all of America see the murderous sin of terrorism and pray for all of America to be safe from evildoers.

This is a time to grieve, mourn and pray.

His Way Out Ministries asks and calls on all partners and members in America, the Caribbean and South America to intercede and pray for the many families that have suffered the senseless and tragic loss of their loved one.

Lord of all compassion, we pray for all those caught up in the midst of human tragedy.
We pray for those who have lost life and for those working to save life.
We pray for those worried for people they love.
We pray for those who need peace that surpasses all understanding.
We pray for all those turning to You in the midst of horrific tragedy and turmoil.
We pray for those crying out to You in fear and in love.
We pray for those in confusion and despair.
We pray for those whose tears will never end.
We pray for those in need of your unending love.
Lord have mercy.

When such outrageous violence and extreme loss of life is beyond our capacity to comprehend, we seek and run to our compassionate and Almighty God. As Christians, all life is sacred and to be celebrated. Presently, there are men and women in the gay community that are afraid. Understandably so. Therefore, let us not become more concerned about political or social issues and pronouncements than we are with those who are fearful and mourn.

As the Body of Christ, we can and we must love. This is all about people. People whom God loves and people for whom Jesus died.

May God have mercy upon us all.
