The ministry partnership of Rock Harbor Church and His Way Out Ministries has sought and continues to seek to change that, because we feel no one should have to apologize for having an opinion, holding to truth, and expressing truth in any setting.

Is freedom from same-sex attraction instantaneous when surrendering to Christ or is it a process? Is the ultimate goal for the same-sex attracted person heterosexuality? These are the kind of conversations that need to take place throughout the Body of Christ on a regular basis to effectively and compassionately communicate God’s heart concerning sexual brokenness and wholeness in Christ Jesus.

Coming up at “Straight Talk” on Saturday, February 11, 2023 beginning at 9:00am.

Each of us will at some point in our lives look upon a loved one and ask the question: “We are willing, Lord, but what can we do?”

“For it is true we can seldom help those closest to us. Either we don’t know what part of ourselves to give, or more often than not, the part we have to give is not wanted. And so, it is those we live with, and should know, who elude us. But we can still love them. We can love completely, without complete understanding.” – A River Runs Through It

Grace and Truth – the considerable challenge to be honest and loving; firm in our convictions, unsparing in our compassion and as clear in our beliefs as we are generous in our love.

When someone you love is same-sex attracted, you become more aware than ever of your inability to face life’s challenges apart from the grace of God.

At “Straight Talk” we will seek a Christlike response to our LGBTQ-identified family members, friends, neighbors and co-workers so may what be said of Christ Jesus may be said of us as well – that we are, as He was, full of grace and truth.
