in-memorium-200In the aftermath of the horrific and heart-wrenching tragedy in Orlando, Florida, we are witnessing some of the best and worst aspects of America. Prayerfully, may all of America see the murderous sin of terrorism and pray for all of America to be safe from evildoers.

This is a time to grieve, mourn and pray.

His Way Out Ministries asks and calls on all partners and members in America, the Caribbean and South America to intercede and pray for the many families that have suffered the senseless and tragic loss of their loved one.

Lord of all compassion, we pray for all those caught up in the midst of human tragedy.
We pray for those who have lost life and for those working to save life.
We pray for those worried for people they love.
We pray for those who need peace that surpasses all understanding.
We pray for all those turning to You in the midst of horrific tragedy and turmoil.
We pray for those crying out to You in fear and in love.
We pray for those in confusion and despair.
We pray for those whose tears will never end.
We pray for those in need of your unending love.
Lord have mercy.

When such outrageous violence and extreme loss of life is beyond our capacity to comprehend, we seek and run to our compassionate and Almighty God. As Christians, all life is sacred and to be celebrated. Presently, there are men and women in the gay community that are afraid. Understandably so. Therefore, let us not become more concerned about political or social issues and pronouncements than we are with those who are fearful and mourn.

As the Body of Christ, we can and we must love. This is all about people. People whom God loves and people for whom Jesus died.

May God have mercy upon us all.
