His Way Out Ministries is Going Paperless
Effective July 1, 2018

Since 1994, His Way Out Ministries has been dedicated to raising awareness, educating, and encouraging the Body of Christ to minister transformingly to men and women with the unwanted brokenness of same-sex attraction.

We remain committed to effectively and compassionately communicating God’s heart concerning sexual and relational brokenness and wholeness, while disputing the unchangeable nature of sexual orientation.

At His Way Out Ministries, we have always believed in and we continue to believe in – “communication, communication, communication!” Today, especially, when gender and sexual confusion is reaching new heights in all aspects of public and private life.

At His Way Out Ministries we are not afraid to discuss with empathy issues that are central to the human soul – sexual and relational issues.

His Way Out Ministries upholds the power of God to redeem individuals and families from sin’s control, even in and including the area of same-sex attraction.

Effective July 1, 2018, His Way Out Ministries will be going paperless, which includes our monthly Newsletter.

Typically, each and every day, we post articles, testimonies, videos, radio pod casts, and more to our web site (www.hiswayout.com) and/or Facebook Page to keep everyone current with what is going on at God’s ministry called His Way Out.

No one chooses to be gay

I have heard, and continue to hear, the above-mentioned statement on a frequent basis. Each and every time, I wonder, “Do they really understand what they are stating?”

The statement, I believe, needs some fleshing-out and clarification because it is often completely misunderstood and misused.

At the age of 13 years old, I became acutely aware of my same-sex attraction. However, it was not until many, many years later I embraced, decided, and clothed myself in what many refer to as “the gay-identity.”

Let me say it this way, “Homosexual tendencies are discovered but the gay-identity is chosen and decided upon.”

The two are worlds apart and dramatically different.

Previously gay-identified men and women, that now have new lives in Christ, know exactly what I am talking about.

Thirty-three years ago, surrendering my life (which included my sexuality to Christ Jesus), in church for the first time in my life and constantly having my nose buried in God’s Word, homosexual practice no longer was an option or a desire.

But, what to do about the gay-identity factor?

“You were taught, with regard to your former way of life, to put off your old self, which is being corrupted by its deceitful desires; and to be made new in the attitude of your mind.” (Ephesians 4:22-24)

“And this is what some of you were.” (1 Corinthians 6:11)

Once again, a choice was before me.

Would I continue to allow feelings, emotions and personal experience dictate my identity or embrace the Lordship of Christ and the Authority of Scripture to define my true identity?

Well, here we are 33 years down the road and I have never, ever regretted my decision to follow Christ and the truth of whom He says I am.

Landon Schott addresses: What the Bible actually says about marriage, homosexuality, and sexuality; contradictions between the gay lifestyle and the Christ-centered lifestyle; how men and women can experience deliverance and freedom; and mistakes the Church makes when addressing the gay community.

Did God make people gay? Does God love homosexuals? Will people have to deal with same-sex attraction their entire lives? Landon Schott brings truth and clarity to sexual confusion, using over 400 Scripture references to reveal the heart of the Father and mind of Christ.
