Our Mission

Dear Friend,

How would you respond to a parent who weeps in your office after sharing, "My child just told me he is gay; what can I do?" Or a woman who says, "I just found out that my husband goes to prostitutes. What's wrong with me?" Or a friend who says, "Once gay, always gay." Or a college student who says, "What's the problem, aren't we all bisexual?" How would you respond?

The evidence of sexual brokenness is all around us. Men and women struggling with homosexuality, addiction to pornography, lesbianism, etc. must have answers to their questions. We believe answers are available through a dynamic encounter with Jesus Christ.

His Way Out Ministries is founded upon our concern for the sexually broken and our desire to minister to those in need within the church and the community at large, using the truth of Scripture, the power of our testimony, and the dialogue of issues.

We are dedicated to raising awareness through education and encouraging the Body of Christ to minister transformingly to those who struggle with sexual and relational brokenness through a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and the healing power of the Holy Spirit.

His Way Out Ministries is available for testimony, teaching, preaching, and seminars about a God who offers full restoration and abundant life to those desiring to leave compulsive and addictive lifestyles.

Who can ignore the cries of those who struggle with sexual fracture in our churches and community? Only Christ can meet the need of the hour. The question is, will we be prepared?

In His Service,

Pastor Phillip Lee
Executive Director, His Way Out Ministries

To date, His Way Out Ministries has shared testimony and teaching at numerous churches, conferences, denominational assemblies, etc. A referral list is available upon request.

Our Position

Our position rests on the authority of Scripture versus the interpretations of some of the social sciences and medicine. His Way Out Ministries Services are centered on the biblical foundations of compassion, integrity, and dependence on God.

We agree that we live in a sexually broken society in which homosexual practice, adultery, and fornication are sin, and such conduct calls for repentance and openness to the transforming power of God.

We affirm that all persons need the ministry of the church in their struggle for sexual wholeness, and we commit ourselves to that end. Although we do not condone the practice of homosexuality, adultery, and fornication, and do consider such practice incompatible with Christian teaching and conduct. We believe that God's grace is available to all who repent.

We believe that through a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and the healing power of the Holy Spirit, often mediated by extended and competent ministry, prayer, and a caring Christian community, the sexually broken can experience transformation and restoration towards wholeness.

We repudiate any non-loving, prejudicial attitudes that deny Christ's unconditional love for all people and declare such to be sin. Our intent is to extend a compassionate Christian ministry for such persons.

From Sexual Brokenness, To Spiritual Wholeness

"And this is what some of you were. But you were washed, you were sanctified, you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of God." 1 Corinthians 6:11

His Way Out is based on our concern regarding the issue of sexual brokenness and seeks to minister to those within the church, and the community at large, with the truth of Scripture, the power of testimony and the dialogue of issues.

The Church

We are dedicated to raising awareness, educating, and encouraging the Body of Christ to minister transformingly to those who struggle with homosexuality and sexual brokenness. Restoration is available through a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and the healing power of the Holy Spirit.

Individuals

We are committed to lovingly communicate to the sexually broken that God's mercy and grace are sufficient for transformation. Restoration and wholeness, through competent ministry, prayer, and a caring Christian community, is possible.

Community

We are committed to effectively and compassionately communicating God's heart concerning sexual brokenness and wholeness, while disputing the unchangeable nature of sexual orientation.
